Multimodality is a theory of communication and social semiotics. Multimodality is a combination of these modes of communication have a meaning of something that i want you to get across in some way. Modes are different ways of communicating in the best way. You can put different modes together to get what your trying to say come across as clear as possible. Wysock thinks multimodality is best by spacing. he thinks if someone is reading something there has to be a reason why those words are there. The spacing between the words has to be the most important thing in communicating in an understandable way according to Wysock. According to Kress, timing on what has happened and what will happen is the most important role of multimodality. So whatever is trying to be communicated can be the easiest way to comprehend.
