Writing is an expression of thought or feeling. Its something that a lot of people do to take their mind off of things. Writing can do a lot of things, it can express, inform, persuade, argue and even entertain. Writing is an assemblage of of ideas that come together to form one full form dickof text. I feel as though the word remix can be applied to almost everything. I learned this after our discussion in class. A remix is really anything that has been derived from past ideas. If you really think about it, almost everything that comes out today is just a remake, or is derived from past ideas. Almost nothing is truly an original idea, not recipes, movies, stories or anything. You would have to trace back everything to the stone age for anything to have been a true original idea. The connection between both writing and remixes is that most writing is just remixes of other writing. Like i said before, a remix is really just an idea that derived from past ideas or experiences. So Writing is really just all remixes. In this course i really want to just to improve my writing all around. I feel as though my brainstorming and putting my ideas and thoughts in to words is something I really need to improve upon. I expect this course to really be a step up from my ENC1101 class. I feel as thought there is going to have to be a lot more research done during this course. I expect it to be a step up from my last course but i also think i am ready for the challenge in this course.
